Genachowski’s response to Dingell-gram fails to persuade

John Dingell (D-Mich.) was not satisfied with the answers that Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Julius Genachowski offered in a letter about broadband services this week, prompting Dingell to tell the FCC it should halt a controversial regulatory proceeding.

“Unfortunately, the paucity of substantive responses to my [questions] has served only to substantiate my fear that the commission’s proposed path with respect to the regulation of broadband is based on unsound reasoning and an incomplete record, and is thus fraught with legal risk,” Dingell said. more>
