It is a clear change for a president who, during his first term, faced criticism from his left flank for being too conciliatory toward the GOP on healthcare reform and, later, during deficit battles.

  1. In my experience people seem to gravitate to people with passion and drive. I am not a great leader by nature, I gravitate away from big speeches and presentations however I’m incredibly passionate about spearfishing and hold a couple of world records. Outside of managing the company I am currently currently paid to run, I own a small online shop that sells spearfishing equipment or http://www.crystalvis.co.uk

    People really seem to respect this and it helps me with getting everyone bought in and on side. Slightly off topic but an interesting concept.
